This website has been making the rounds on the Twittersphere over the past 24 hours and I finally had a chance to sit down and dig in. One performance that immediately jumped out at me was Jamie Lidell’s solo rendition of “A Little Bit More”. Yes, it’s that same song you’ve heard a million times in the Target commercial. However, this is a completely different version, built entirely upon Jamie’s looped vocals and beatboxing (as well as a few bizarre samples thrown in for good measure). Melodic, funky and incredibly soulful, I highly recommend clicking below and checking it out for yourself. This is live-looping done right.
